Website privacy policy

How thesaynt.com handles information about visitors. Last updated 2 October 2026.

This policy covers this website, operated by Saynt Pty Ltd (ABN 55 702 181 717). Our apps have their own policies — for PITA Sports, see the PITA Sports privacy policy.

Analytics

This website uses Google Analytics, installed through Google’s Site Kit plugin, to understand how many people visit and which pages they view. Google Analytics sets cookies in your browser (named beginning with _ga) and receives information such as the pages you visit, your approximate location derived from your IP address, your browser and device type, and how you arrived at the site. Google processes this under its own privacy policy. You can block these cookies in your browser settings or use Google’s opt-out browser add-on.

Cookies

Besides the analytics cookies above, the site’s shop software (WooCommerce) sets cookies that record how a visitor arrived at the site (named beginning with sbjs_) and, if a cart is used, cookies that keep the cart working. Logged-in administrators receive WordPress’s own sign-in cookies. We don’t use advertising cookies.

If you contact us

When you use the contact form, we receive your name, email address, the topic you chose and your message by email so that we can reply. We use the details only to respond and don’t add you to a mailing list.

Fonts and other requests

The site’s main typeface is served from this website. A font plugin on the site also loads a typeface from Google Fonts, which means your browser makes a request to Google and Google receives your IP address.

Hosting and security

The website is hosted by an Australian hosting provider. Like any web server, it records ordinary request details — the page requested, the time, your browser and your IP address — to serve pages and protect the site. A security plugin records the IP address of failed sign-in attempts to block attacks.

Comments

If you leave a comment on a blog post, the site stores your name, email address, comment and IP address so the comment can be moderated and shown.

Sharing and overseas processing

We don’t sell information about visitors. Google, which provides analytics and fonts, may process information outside Australia, including in the United States.

Your rights

To ask what information we hold about you, to correct it, or to make a complaint, email jericho@thesaynt.com. We’ll respond within 30 days. If you’re not satisfied, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.

Changes

If this website changes how it handles information — for example, when tools are added or removed — we’ll update this page and the date at the top.
